Premiere of the Precious Places Community History Project

Join us for a celebration of nine new documentaries co-produced by Scribe Video Center and community groups in the Greater Philadelphia area and Chester. Scribe Video Center’s Precious Places Community History Project is a program intended to reveal neighborhood sites as bright landmarks that surprise and inspire residents and visitors alike, through documentaries made by those who know the places the best.

The community groups who participated were Advocates for the Descendants of St. Peter Claver, Bethel Burying Group, Paul Robeson House, Philadelphia Chinatown CDC, Hayti Historical Society, Church of the Advocate, Yes, We Can Achievement and Cultural Center, Stadium Stompers, and the Painted Bride.
