Harvey Milk was San Francisco’s first openly gay supervisor. In 1978, he was assassinated, along with then-mayor George Moscone. This film documents Milk’s rise and tragic end through archival footage and interviews with friends and associates. The Times of Harvey Milk won the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature in 1984.
