Frederick Wiseman, USA, 1968, 75 min

What really happens inside the walls of an American high school? Famed documentarian Frederick Wiseman (Titicut Follies, Hospital) answers that question in this fascinating peek inside Philadelphia’s Northeast High School, where the students constantly clash with their teachers and the teachers wage their own battle against the administration.

Special Guests: Tim Corrigan, Professor of English and Cinema Studies at the University of Pennsylvania; Joel Gibbs, award-winning radio & TV writer/producer/director and host of Moviemania, a nationally-syndicated talk radio program.

Part of the Gershman Philadelphia Jewish Film Festival at Lightbox Film Center.

Tickets for students or IHP Members must be purchased at the box office.
