The Women's Film Festival Centerpiece Film: Olympia

Gregory Dixon / 2018 / 91 min / Digital File or DVD

A coming-of-adulthood story about a young woman on the precipice of turning 30 who is confronted by events that promise to dramatically alter the course of her life.

When her boyfriend asks her to drop everything and move cross-country, she soon discovers that her biggest obstacle may be herself. Featuring quirky animation and a revelatory central performance, Olympia is a heartfelt story for anyone who’s ever felt adrift on the rough seas of adulthood.

The Women’s Film Festival is an annual festival during Women’s History Month in March that showcases work made by and/or about women. The Women’s Film Festival is the only event of its kind in Philadelphia that celebrates and elevates women in film and television.
